Andrew Nevard is a multi-disciplined independent film financier and producer with over 30 years experience in all aspects of motion picture and digital media finance and production.  He has a deep understanding of the rapidly changing film financing and distribution landscape.

His career began on film sets in the 1980’s. He then went on to pursue two years of post-graduate studies in finance and subsequently was involved in an early internet start-up that was acquired by a public company.

In the mid 1990’s he founded and grew Splice Postproduction into one of Canada’s well known film and television post production boutiques, working with Canadian and international producers on hundreds of TV commercials, dozens of TV series and over 50 Quebec and International feature films.  The company was sold in 2008.

Throughout the past 25 years he has been a consultant to a private investment company planning and executing financial market and real estate transactions.  Most recently he has been developing an asset backed film finance company and is involved in producing films such as the indie feature Long Gone Day.
